In the centre of Banská Bystrica, close to the historical core of the city, a comprehensive urban district with a predominant housing function will emerge in the next few years. In a location with a total area of 34,500 m2, an attractive high-standard urban housing will be created, with an emphasis on high-quality architecture and safe public space.

New Cultural and Social Centre of Banská Bystrica
Due to its location, the upcoming district has the potential to become a new cultural and social centre of Banská Bystrica. On one side, the complex is adjacent to the historic city centre, where all important city and civic institutions are within walking distance. On the other side, the land is closed off by the river Bystrica, which, thanks to the renovated waterfront, will once again become part of the life of the city.
